Good News

I got an email that contained some good news the other day. “Nevilyn” has been accepted into Ami Simms’ “Alzheimer's: Forgetting Piece by Piece” exhibit. You can read about it here. There is also a list of venues where you will be able to view the exhibit.

Other than that I have spent the last week tying up loose ends, finishing bindings on quilts, picking up and putting things away and contemplating what should be next on the list.

First things first, but not necessarily in that order. —Doctor Who

Linda, your quilt is fantastic. You have really brought all the elements of good quilting together. The subject is educational and thought-provoking. The workmanship is phenomenal. Every piece and stitch comes together to tell a story. Your grandmother would have been very proud of you.
My mother had dementia. She had one foot on earth and one foot in heaven. Now she has both feet in heaven and I do not regret one second that she was with me.

I love your quilt. I would like to make one like that in honor of my mom who is no longer with us. What did you print her picture on?
